South Molton is a busy market town situated just south of Exmoor and is well placed to benefit from all the facilities that North Devon has to offer from the wide open spaces of the moors to the thriving regional centre of Barnstaple. The town and surrounding villages are well served for facilities with primary schools and shops in many of the villages and with a good range of shops in South Molton itself including bakers, butchers, greengrocer, etc. There is a Sainsbury’s supermarket in town and a Tesco’s and Sainsbury’s in Barnstaple together with large Tesco in Tiverton. Road links are good, with the A361 running just outside the town and providing excellent links to both Barnstaple, the regional centre of North Devon and Tiverton with its associated links to the M5 motorway at Junction 27.
